Privacy policy
A short and accurate description of what happens to data when you visit this site. It is short because this is a static site that collects very little directly.
Last reviewed August 2026. We update a page when the underlying evidence changes, not on a schedule.
What we collect directly
Nothing, other than what your browser sends in the ordinary course of loading a page. There is no sign-up, no newsletter, no comment system and no contact form on this site. If you email us, we have your email address and whatever you put in the message, and we use it only to reply.
Third parties that receive data
- Google Analytics. We use it to see which pages get read and roughly where readers come from. It sets cookies and processes information about your visit, including a truncated IP address, under Google's privacy terms.
- Google advertising. Advertising served on this site is delivered by Google, which may use cookies to select and measure ads. You can control this at Google My Ad Center.
- Retailers you click through to. Affiliate links carry a tracking identifier so the retailer can attribute a purchase to us. What happens after you arrive on their site is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure.
- Our hosting provider. Standard server and CDN logs, retained for operational and security purposes.
Controlling cookies
Every current browser can block or clear cookies, and most offer a setting to reject third-party cookies specifically. Doing so will not affect anything on this site — there is no functionality here that depends on them. Browser-level tracking protection and extensions that block analytics and advertising also work as expected.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we hold almost none, most such requests are best directed at Google, whose systems hold the analytics and advertising data. For anything we do hold — an email you sent us — write to hello@blueblockreview.com and we will delete it on request.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data — a newsletter, say — this page will be updated before that feature goes live, not after. Last reviewed August 2026.
